What does food without regrets mean for me?
It’s the food which I prepare and eat without having any regrets :). That means referring to health and ethical morals I eat low fat high raw and plantbased mostly organic food, oh and not to forget, I’m not a big fan of soy products but also not a fan of restricting myself to much. Therefore I always keep one natural organic soy yoghurt in my fridge. Just in case :).
My daily food buddy’s:
Blackstrap molasses, matcha,1 lemon, chia seeds or flax seeds, bananas, dates, carrots, zoodles (zucchini noodles), nutritional yeast
If there is a day without one of these things, it’s just because of:
My food shopping manage did go wrong
I’m on the road or traveling
I’ve got guests
About Food combining:
I’m not that food sensitive, so it’s totally fine for me to mix cooked and raw food. But I recognized that the combination of fats and fruits do not do me much good.
If you would eat with me… it would look like this 🙂
one tsp black strap molasses, which is good for your skin, hair and nails
1 liter water with squeeze of one lemon
Matcha Latte, my little wake me up support
something fruity like raw oats with chia seeds and fruits, a green smoothie or a smoothiebowl
A bunch of Carrots before lunch (my friends kidding me being a rabbit)
For warm days: something fresh and raw like salad, smoothie, raw crackers with almond butter…
For cold days: a big salad with comfort toppings and something warm aside
Breaks: chocolate- chai-spiced latte, dates, dried apricots, raw chocolate
Raw starter followed by rainbow plate with something oven-baked like potatoes, pumpkin and complex carbs like lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans, brown rice, quinoa
I really believe in happy food and that food defines us in one important way and this is how food makes me happy.
